Career/Vocational Guidance

Career/Vocational guidance helps adolescents and young adults to explore their self-knowledge, professional interests, skills and values, while connecting them with the professional world to make informed academic and career decisions. My role is to help clarify career decisions through psychological assessment instruments that foster reflection, and to connect them with relevant mentors and resources.

What to expect:

Areas of expertise:

  • Self-discovery: understanding skills, values, and interests, which can be essential for making informed career choices.

  • Career exploration: opportunities to explore different career options and learn about the requirements and opportunities in various fields.

  • Skill development: helping individuals to develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen career.

  • Decision-making: helping individuals to make informed decisions about their education, training, and career paths.

  1. Initial interview with adolescent and parents/ caregivers

  2. Weekly 1h sessions in person or online

  3. Closing session with parents/caregivers to share the process findings and results (included in a written report)

The frequency and duration of sessions may be adjusted to meet the individual needs of each adolescent.
